The Crysis 3 Multiplayer Beta is in its final weekend! Because of our amazing fans the popularity of the Beta has exceeded our expectations. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played the game, and especially to those who provided us with awesome suggestions on how to improve the Crysis 3 Multiplayer experience. We have been actively listening, and we will use your insights to improve the multiplayer gameplay experience even after the release of Crysis 3.
We’ve applied a patch that is now live on all servers for PC and PS3 (and will be for Xbox 360 soon). Here are some of the changes being implemented in the Multiplayer Beta Data Patch 1.0:
We also plan on introducing additional changes to the Crysis 3 Multiplayer, particularly to game balance and technical issues. Many of these improvements are based off of your feedback, so thanks again for enabling us to provide you with continued support.
Lastly, we are aware of the concern over cheating and want to stress that the Crysis 3 development team is committed to ensuring a fair and balanced gameplay experience for all our players. The Anti-Cheat detection system we’ve developed is performing well so far. Two of our primary goals for the Crysis 3 Multiplayer Beta are to identify new exploits and refine detection to ensure false positives are discarded, to protect legitimate Crysis 3 players from being banned by mistake.
We encourage all our fans to help us stop cheaters by identifying them with screenshots on MyCrysis forums. Once the game launches, the Anti-Cheat detection will automatically ban cheaters and exploit artists.
